Don't pack heavy stuff in here
Even though it's rated for 65 lbs, a large box full of books is impossible to carry. Keep it bulk-and-light. Heavy goes in small boxes.
Vacuum-bag your bedding
Compression bags pull the air out of comforters and pillows. You'll fit twice as much per large box and your linens come out wrinkle-free.
Pad the lamp shades
Crumpled paper inside the shade, bubble wrap around it, and stand it upright in the box. Never lay shades flat — they reshape to whatever they're against.

No — and it's the most common DIY mistake. Large boxes are for bulk-and-light only. A large box full of books is back-breaking and likely to split.
Will it fit through standard doorways?

Yes. 24" wide is well under any residential doorway (32" minimum). Stairs and tight hallways are no issue.
How many do I need?
