Set the tension once, leave it

Tighten the tension dial until you have to actively pull the tape — that's the sweet spot. Too loose and the tape goes slack; too tight and you'll fight every pull.

Cut at an angle

Roll the gun forward and let the serrated edge slice on the diagonal. You'll get a clean cut and won't leave a sticky tail flapping.

One per packer

If two of you are packing in different rooms, get two guns. Sharing one always means one of you is waiting.
